Who Were Those People in My Dreams?
Dreams are messages from your subconscious mind. These messages reflect your thoughts and attitudes about your previous day. The importance of dreams cannot be underestimated because they reveal the truth about your current state of consciousness. Dreams are a mirror to the soul, waiting for you to recognize and respond to them.
Dreams are somewhat like a re-play button. Everything you do in your daily life is creating mental patterns, and some of these set up negative emotions. Your subconscious mind goes through these experiences and sifts through them. Some of the negative patterns may be healed as you assimilate you experiences. Dreams keep you healthy and keep you from fragmenting aspects of your personality, biology and physiology. Dreams are a path for healing.
We spend about 1/3 of our lives sleeping. By the age of 60 we have invested about 20 years sleeping, and more than 2 ½ years dreaming. Dreamtime is a way for you to assimilate the day’s experiences. Dreaming allows your subconscious mind to communicate with your conscious mind, in the form of pictures, about your thoughts and attitudes of the previous day. It is necessary for us to continually assimilate and process all of the input and stimuli we receive during the day.
